Privacy Policy

Effective: July 11, 2026

Horizance LLC ("Horizance", "we", "us") operates HORIZANCE Fax, a service for transmitting tax forms and related documents to the IRS by fax (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what rights you have over it — including if you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or California.

1. Who we are

Horizance LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA — info@horizance.com. Horizance LLC is the "data controller" for the information described below.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly. We retain the amount charged, the Stripe Checkout Session identifier, and whether payment succeeded, so we can match it to your fax job and provide support.

3. How we use it, and why (legal basis)

We do not use your information for third-party advertising and we do not sell it.

4. Who we share it with

We share information with the following service providers (subprocessors), each solely to help us run the Service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Horizance, our users, or others.

5. International data transfers

Horizance LLC is a US company; information is primarily processed in the United States. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or elsewhere outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and, through the subprocessors above, potentially other countries.

Yandex Metrika specifically transfers data to Russia. If you are in the EEA/UK, be aware that Russia does not have an EU adequacy decision, and this transfer does not currently rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another Article 46 safeguard. We are evaluating whether to restrict Yandex Metrika to non-EEA/UK visitors; until then, EEA/UK visitors should treat declining analytics cookies in the cookie banner as the way to opt out of this specific transfer.

6. How long we keep it

We keep fax job records, uploaded documents, and lead submissions for as long as needed to provide support, meet our financial/tax recordkeeping obligations, and resolve disputes. We do not currently run an automated deletion schedule. You can request deletion of your information at any time (see "Your rights" below); we will honor it except where we're required to keep something (e.g., payment records).

7. Your rights

If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you're a California resident

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Everyone else

Regardless of where you're located, email info@horizance.com and we'll do our best to honor your request.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults handling tax filings and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Security

Documents are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update the effective date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the update.
